Funko Pop debuts 'Mean Girls' collection

EVERETT, Wash., March 31 (UPI) -- Funko Pop toymakers will debut a new collection based on the Mean Girls film, the company has announced.

The new collection, featuring characters Cady, Regina, Gretchen and Karen will be available in May, according to a blog post from the toy brand.

The original movie, released in 2004, stars Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Tina Fey, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert.

The four new designs will join the Pop! Movies collection, which already includes Star Wars, Ghostbusters and Back To The Future vinyl figures, among hundreds of others.

Funko Pop also announced Thursday its upcoming mug collection based on famous DC characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin. The mugs will make their public debut in August, several months after being introduced at the New York Toy Fair this past February.
