NEW YORK, March 21 (UPI) -- J.J. Abrams, Andrea Arnold, Anthony Bourdain, Francis Ford Coppola, Chris Rock, Katie Couric, Alfonso Cuarón and Jodie Foster are to take part in panel discussions at next month's 2016 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
Also confirmed to participate in various conversations are Tom Hanks, Tina Fey, Joss Whedon, Ricky Gervais, Idina Menzel, Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Hardwicke, Donna Karan, Baz Luhrmann, Patti Smith, Olivia Wilde and Samantha Bee.
The Tribeca Talks program will run during the 15th edition of TFF, scheduled for April 13-24.
"Storytelling is an expansive medium with the power to advance conversations and issues long after the credits roll," Paula Weinstein, executive vice president of Tribeca Enterprises, said in a statement Monday. "The Tribeca Talks series gives audiences the chance to continue those conversations as well as hear from legendary figures in film, music and more."
