Lindsay Lohan dating 22-year-old Russian heir Egor Tarabasov

LONDON, March 10 (UPI) -- Lindsay Lohan has a new man in her life -- Russian business heir Egor Tarabasov.

The 29-year-old actress confirmed she's dating the 22-year-old entrepreneur during her recent guest edit for the Sun.

"I haven't known Egor for that long," the star revealed. "But I do have a boyfriend and he is a great guy. I met him in the summer. I'm really happy."

Sources told TMZ the couple met through a mutual friend in London and spent the holidays with Lohan's family in New York. The actress' family reportedly approves of Tarabasov and thinks he keeps Lohan out of trouble.

"Lindsay has obviously had some issues in the past, and probably been attracted to the wrong sort of guys, but this is different," an insider told the Mirror.

"She is really happy and a lot of that comes down to meeting Egor," the source added. "He's a bit younger than she is, but he's a very smart businessman. He's much more mature than his age suggests, and he's a good influence."

News of Tarabasov follows word Lohan once turned down One Direction singer Harry Styles. The actress told the Sun she didn't recognize the 22-year-old singer when he showed up at her hotel room while she was in bed.

"I didn't know it was him. He was in a suit. I said, 'Well, you're very good-looking -- can I help you?'" she recalled. "He's like, 'I'm Harry. Gavin and Michael sent me here.' I was in bed. I was like, 'I'm going to bed but it was nice to meet you.'"

"It was 2 a.m., I had just come back from an AA meeting," she shared. "It didn't click who he was at the time. I told my sister the next day and she was like, 'Wait, are you kidding me? Do you understand? Do you have his number? Can I have it?'"

Lohan previously dated actor Wilmer Valderrama and singers Aaron Carter and Robbie Williams. The actress is known for such films as Mean Girls and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and will next star in The Shadow Within.
