"One summer's evening, two aging writers, Hirst and Spooner, meet in a Hampstead pub and continue their drinking into the night at Hirst's stately house nearby," a synopsis of the play said. "As the pair become increasingly inebriated, and their stories increasingly unbelievable, the lively conversation soon turns into a revealing power game, further complicated by the return home of two sinister younger men."

The pair will bring the play to Sheffield, Newcastle, Brighton, Cardiff and London throughout August and September.

London. Beginning September 8, 2016. Wyndham's Theatre No Man's Land (play) Ian McKellen Patrick Stewart http://www.nomanslandtheplay.com/

Perhaps best known for co-starring in the X-Men film franchise, the classically trained actors previously performed No Man's Land on Broadway in 2013. They also headlined a staging of Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett in New York.
