SEATTLE, March 9 (UPI) -- Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's son Jack met a special Humboldt penguin Tuesday in Seattle. The 39-year-old actress and 36-year-old actor took the 3-year-old to meet the penguin he named last year for the Woodland Park Zoo. Jack dubbed the bird "Eagle" during the family's visit in October.

"Jack got to meet Eagle the penguin! Thank you so much @woodlandparkzoo!" Faris captioned a photo of her son. "This was also a less-adorable expression upon introduction-turns out sometimes penguins smell."
Faris and Pratt grew up in Edmonds, Wash., and Lake Stevens, Wash., respectively, and returned to visit the state in the fall. The couple said at the time their family was "so honored" to be chosen to name the penguin.
"Anna and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I remember the awesome salmon and trout rivers, the bears, the elephants... Oh. I'm talking of course about the @woodlandparkzoo !! If you haven't had a chance to check it out you really must," Pratt wrote in October.
"Who'd have thought that 15 some years later we'd meet in Hollywood, fall in love, get married, have a baby and that baby boy would be given the opportunity to NAME A PENGUIN CHICK at the zoo?! I mean come on!"
Faris and Pratt met on the set of Take Me Home Tonight in 2007 and got engaged the next year. The pair married in Bali in 2009 and welcomed Jack, who was born nine weeks premature, in 2012.
"Anna and I are meant to be together," Pratt said in a Reddit AMA last year. "Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny ... She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in LA."
Faris plays Christy Plunkett on CBS sitcom Mom, which airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. Pratt will star in The Magnificent Seven with Denzel Washington and Passengers with Jennifer Lawrence before reprising Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
