The 84-year-old News Corp founder and 59-year-old model-turned-actress said their vows at the historic Spencer House palace after less than a year of dating.
Murdoch and Hall were all smiles as they left the building, with the groom in a navy suit and the bride in a navy dress and white coat. The media mogul's daughter Elisabeth was also spotted and is thought to have acted as a witness at the wedding.
The couple will marry again in front of their family and friends at Fleet Street's St. Bride's Church on Saturday. Up to 200 guests are expected to attend, including actors Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, who are godparents to Murdoch's daughters Grace and Chloe.
"[It] will be very much a family event for both of them," Rev. Canon Dr. Alison Joyce, who will lead the service, told People. "It will be a service of prayer and blessing at which they will give thanks for their marriage, and renew their marriage vows before God."
Murdoch's niece Penny Fowler introduced the couple over the summer. The pair went public with their relationship at the Rugby World Cup Final in October and made their red carpet debut at the Golden Globes before announcing their engagement Jan. 11.
Murdoch was previously wed to Patricia Booker, Anna Mann and Wendi Deng, and has six children whose ages range from 12 to 57. Hall was married to Mick Jagger and shares four children with the Rolling Stones frontman.
