ATLANTA, March 3 (UPI) -- The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed it will release to the public the results of Bobbi Kristina Brown's autopsy, so long as it is legally authorized to do so.

"As of the date and time below, the Fulton County Medical Examiner has not received a signed authorization from the court indicating whether we can release information and, if so, what type of information can be released. If we do receive authorization later today, we do not plan to release information until tomorrow, March 4, 2016, at the earliest," the office said in a press release posted online Thursday afternoon.

The 22-year-old daughter of musician Bobby Brown and his late ex-wife, recording superstar Whitney Houston, died under hospice care July 26, 2015 -- six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub full of water in her Georgia townhouse.

Representatives for Bobbi Kristina's estate have accused her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, of causing her death. However, the circumstances remain under investigation and no criminal charges have been filed against Gordon. He has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
