LOS ANGELES, March 3 (UPI) -- Kaley Cuoco isn't giving up on love, despite her pending divorce from Ryan Sweeting.

The 30-year-old Big Bang Theory star talked about her post-divorce life in the April issue of Cosmopolitan five months after her split from the 28-year-old former professional tennis player.

"[What happened] changes the way I look at marriage, and that makes me said," Cuoco said. "It does not change the way that I look at love. I cannot wait to be in love again. I don't feel like I am ready yet ... which is so different for me. I dive into everything."

Cuoco and Sweeting announced their divorce in September after less than two years of marriage. The actress was subsequently linked to her ex-boyfriend and Big Bang Theory co-star, Johnny Galecki, which she found distressing for Sweeting's sake.

"Johnny and I are very close now, but the worst part about that is I don't want stories like that, especially during this divorce, to hurt my ex," she said. "We have nods with each other. Johnny and I do this thing like a nod that says, 'I got you. I get it.'"

Cuoco and Galecki, who play Penny and Leonard on The Big Bang Theory, secretly dated for two years prior to the actress' marriage. Cuoco denied she and Galecki are back together in October and dismissed rumors again in January.

"So sorry to disappoint, but no homewreckers or secret flings going on here," she wrote in October. She told fans she and Galecki are still "not dating" after cozy photos surfaced of the pair at the People's Choice Awards in January.

Cuoco acknowledged her split from Sweeting was "rough" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February, but said she is looking forward to 2016.

The Big Bang Theory co-stars Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar and airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
