LONDON, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Emma Watson has admitted to subscribing to a female sex website, saying that she wishes it had "been around longer."

"A friend told me about this website called OMGYES, which is dedicated to female sexuality," the Harry Potter star said onstage Thursday to feminist icon Gloria Steinem during a talk at the Emmanuel Centre in London.

"I wish it had been around longer. Definitely check it out," she continued. "It's an expensive subscription but it's worth it."

Speaking with the New York Daily News, a rep for OMGYES.com explained the purpose of the site and its goal in researching female sexuality.

"In short, scientists had never researched actual techniques for pleasure because it's so taboo," the rep explained."We got 4.6 million dollars in funding and are doing that research. Instead of just making academic journal articles, we're making the findings practical, real, and experiential in the form of documentary interviews — both explicit and non-explicit — with real-life women, not actresses."

The premium site requires users to make a one-time payment of $59 in order to access Season One of their content which includes twelve episodes, 50 short videos, and 11 touchable videos.

Recently, Watson revealed that she plans on taking a break from acting to focus on activism and her own self-growth. "I want to try to talk to people who might not encounter feminism and talk to them about feminism," she shared about life after Hollywood. "It's a really interesting job and it's a really interesting line to tread. I want to engage in the topic with people who wouldn't normally."
