Plenty of explosions, fights with pirates and close calls follow as Nathan Drake contemplates staying true to his brother or his wife Elena, who was promised a quieter life away from all the action and gunfire.

"As you can see, there's quite a bit at stake for Nathan Drake's closing chapter," game directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley said on Sony's official Playstation Blog.

"The team is working extremely hard to deliver our most ambitious game to date. We can't tell you how excited we all are for you to play the final game."

Announced as the final game in the series, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End arrives April 26.
