LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Chrissy Teigen will hire a night nurse to care for her daughter once she's born.

The 30-year-old model revealed as much to Us Weekly while discussing the best parenting advice she's received at the Sports Illustrated VIP Sunset Cruise on Thursday.

"The recommendation of a night nurse!" the star said. "It's pretty unanimous. Everyone was like, 'If you can do it, do it.' So we're going for it!" The nurse will help with late-night feedings and diaper changes.

Teigen and husband John Legend announced the model's pregnancy in October and are expecting a girl in the spring. Teigen said she and the 37-year-old singer are staying "pretty mellow" about parenthood, despite the baby being their first child.

"I'm pretty anxious normally with most things in life, work, but with this we're very calm, and we feel very ready despite not having really done anything," she shared. "We're very lucky to have my mom and John's mom with us during the summer, so we'll learn as we go, just like anything else."

Teigen appears in the 2016 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and told People magazine Wednesday she was undergoing IVF treatments during the shoot. The model previously shared her fertility struggles on FABLife in September.

"I was getting my shots and everything in Zanzibar, I had a little medical kit," she told People. "It was hard because you bloat from it, and you bruise -- if I hit the wrong area. That's the kind of thing we had to cover up with makeup."

Teigen has appeared in seven Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues and is also known for co-hosting Spike TV series Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J. Legend last released Love in the Future in 2013 and won a Grammy with Teigen by his side Monday.
