Pink covers 'White Rabbit' in 'Alice Through the Looking Glass' trailer

WASHINGTON, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Recording artist Pink is heard singing throughout the latest Alice Through The Looking Glass trailer.

The singer, born Alecia Moore, covered Jefferson Airplane's psychedelic tune "White Rabbit" for the 90-second clip, which aired during the Grammys Monday night.

In an accompanying featurette released by Disney alongside the trailer, Pink reveals not only will she be heard singing "White Rabbit," she is also penning an exclusive song for the Alice In Wonderland sequel.

"It's one of the more exciting things I've done in my life," she said.

The latest Alice Through The Looking Glass trailer sees the return of Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, the late Alan Rickman as the voice of Absolem the Caterpillar and Michael Sheen as the White Rabbit.

Mia Wasikowska will once again play the film's leading role as Alice. Newcomer Sacha Baron Cohen will play the villainous character Time.

Alice Through the Looking Glass bows in theaters May 27.
