LOS ANGELES, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Paul McCartney, Beck and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins were collectively turned away from a post-Grammys party hosted by rapper Tyga.

The trio and their entourage arrived at Argyle in Hollywood late Monday to take part in the festivities, but were turned away by security twice at the door.

In a video obtained by TMZ, McCartney, 73, is seen standing outside the club and joking, "How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit!"

After being rejected a second time, McCartney and his friends decided to try another location instead, and were welcomed at the Republic Records Grammy Party at Hyde Sunset Kitchen and Cocktail.

The latter party is said to have also been attended by Taylor Swift, Zendaya, Tony Bennett, James Bay and Joe Jonas.

After finding out about who was kept from entering his party, Tyga only responded, "I don't know what you're talking about," before leaving the club, TMZ reports.
