LOS ANGELES, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Rock 'n Roll supergroup Hollywood Vampires -- including the likes of Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry -- made their television debut while honoring late Motorhead frontman, Lemmy Kilmister, during the Grammys.
The Hollywood Vampires played the Motorhead hit "Ace of Spades" after featuring an original tune titled "As Bad as I Am."
Actor Johnny Depp performed a short spoken word during the song, as well as a guitar solo.
The band was introduced by Foo Fighters frontman David Grohl during the awards show after the singer dedicated much of his speech to Kilmister.
"He was a rebel, an outsider, a one of a kind and a way of life. He was Motorhead. He was a legend and I was proud to call him my friend," Grohl said.
"I have an 'Ace Of Spades' tattoo, but the truth is Lemmy and Motorhead left their mark on me a long time ago, just as they did for everybody who has ever loved rock and roll."
