The America's Next Top Model host shared a photo of a baby's cap, writing "The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He's got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik's mouth and chin."

Banks, who recently announced the end of her popular modeling competition and her exit from talk show FABLife, thanked the couple's surrogate, calling her an "angel of a woman" who carried their "miracle baby boy."

Boyfriend Asla shared the same photo to his Instagram page, adding "Witnessing the dawn of life is quite possibly life's greatest gift."

Before leaving FABLife in November, Banks discussed her fertility struggles with co-host Chrissy Teigen on air. She suggested her busy career had distracted her from becoming a mother, revealing she put off motherhood for years since her early twenties.

"When I was 23 years old, I used to tell myself, 'In three years I'm gonna have kids.' Then I turned 24. 'In three years I'm gonna have kids.' And then just every single year I kept saying that," the now 41-year-old television personality said. "And then, after a while it's like, OK, now I want to -- and it's not so easy."
