HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Jon Hamm says his name on his first Golden Globe is spelled wrong. Speaking with Vanity Fair, the Mad Men actor said the statuette he received in the mail for his 2008 win misspelled his first name, adding an 'H.'
"Uh, guys, there's no 'H,'" Hamm, who is a juror at this year's Sundance Film Festival, said, addressing the Hollywood Foreign Press Association during an on-screen interview.
During the awards ceremony, Golden Globe winners are given a nameless statuette for which a personalize plaque with their name engraved will be later mailed. The Black Mirror actor said he hasn't received his latest plaque from this year's Golden Globes, and urged the HFPA to spell his name right.
"Hopefully if you're watching, it's 'J-O-N,' or 'Jonathan,'" Hamm joked.
