One Direction's Louis Tomlinson welcomes first child with Briana Jungwirth

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Louis Tomlinson of One Direction has reportedly welcomed his first child with ex Briana Jungwirth.

A source close to Jungwirth tells People the duo's new son, born Thursday in Los Angeles, is "perfect."

News Tomlinson, 24, was to be a father broke in July of last year, when reports said the One Direction singer was "excited" about coming a dad.

"It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer," a source told People at the time.

Tomlinson and Jungwirth reportedly met earlier this year after the 1D star broke up with longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder. While it looks as if the "Drag Me Down" singer has moved on romantically with rumored girlfriend Danielle Campbell, the status of his and Jungwirth's current relationship is publicly unknown.

On Thursday, Tomlinson's former stepfather, Mark Tomlinson, tweeted a telling message to fans reading, "Is that the patter of tiny feet?" hinting at the family's new addition.
