LOS ANGELES, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Jenna Fischer says actor John Krasinski will always be "a type of spouse" after their on-screen love affair during comedy series The Office.

During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday night, Fischer explained to host Andy Cohen she will always hold a part of her onscreen character, Pam, and Krasinski will always hold part of his character, Jim.

"Those parts of us were genuinely in love with one another," she said. "But in real life, we aren't totally Pam and totally Jim. So in real life we're not like the perfect match."

The two, Fischer added, may always consider each other partners. "We will always be close because of it," she said.

Both Office stars are currently married, Fischer to Lee Kirk and 13 Hours actor Krasinski to actress Emily Blunt.

Earlier this month, Krasinski debuted his new, muscular physique ahead of the 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi release. Of his new bod, Krasinski said his wife "hates it."

"She would way prefer to have doughy guy back," he said.
