WASHINGTON, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Elizabeth Banks, Retta, Dascha Polanco and other actresses came together to tell real abortion stories as part of the Center for Reproductive Rights' Draw The Line campaign.

In the clips, published Wednesday, the actresses, including Mary McCormack, Amy Brenneman, Mercedes Mason and Bellamy Young, retell stories from women who have had abortions to represent the myriad of reasons why everyday women choose to undergo the procedure.

The videos were created in hopes of drawing attention to the upcoming Supreme Court case Whole Woman's Health v. Cole, which will be heard on March 2. The case will determine whether the state of Texas will be capable of restricting the abortion procedure statewide.

The Draw The Line campaign also honors the historic Roe v. Wade decision 43 years after its implementation.

"I knew I had to end the pregnancy," Elizabeth Banks recited while telling a young woman named Rebecca's story. "What I remember most about my experience is how the women I love stepped up to support the decision I was choosing to make, because the life they were most concerned about, was mine."

"When you love someone you want the best for them, and that means you would do anything to protect them from being forced to do anything against their will," Banks continued. "I think most women feel that way."
