LOS ANGELES, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- One of the most talked about moments from the Golden Globes was when Lady Gaga bumped into Leonardo DiCaprio.
The brushup between the two stars happened Sunday as Gaga was walking past a sitting DiCaprio on her way to accept the award for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for her role as the countess in American Horror Story: Hotel.
It was then that the pop star accidentally touched the back of DiCaprio as he was laughing with others at his table. The actor, surprised, gave Gaga a peculiar look as she passed by.
Now immortalized in gif form, the viral moment prompted an explanation from DiCaprio. "Oh lord -- that's trending, huh?" he told Entertainment Tonight.
"I just didn't know what was passing me -- that's all!" he said of his reaction.
The Golden Globes was a big night for DiCaprio, who took home a statue for Best Actor in a Drama for his role as Hugh Glass in The Revenant, which won for Best Motion Picture, Drama.
