Ruby Rose models for Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply for spring campaign

NEW YORK, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Actress Ruby Rose is the face of Ralph Lauren's latest spring denim campaign.

The Australian celebrity, known for her role as Stella in the Netflix original Orange Is The New Black, will reportedly be featured in a series of four short cinematic videos through the label's Instagram page.

The first clip, showing Rose in Brooklyn, N.Y., was uploaded early Wednesday morning and shows the artist and model donning a wide-brimmed hat, blue handkerchief, and denim-on-denim ensemble.

"Learn to ride the wave," the clip read, advertising its denim overalls.

"I love the fact that [Denim & Supply] is using Instagram to create these mini films, these little 15-second cinematics, because I definitely get a lot of the information, my inspiration and style inspiration from social media platforms, and on Instagram especially," Rose told People, which first published the campaign photos.

"And I think that people's attention spans are much shorter these days, and you're less likely to captivate or hold people's attention for that long...[The videos] are fun and about being yourself -- they're about being authentic and not taking yourself too seriously -- and I hope people get that," she added.

The fashion campaign, shot by photographer Mark Seliger, also features Hailey Baldwin, who was recently romantically linked to singer Justin Bieber, and local artist Edward Granger.
