LOS ANGELES, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Kylie Jenner is not engaged to boyfriend Tyga. The 18-year-old reality star asserted as much on her website after the 26-year-old rapper gave her an enormous diamond ring for Christmas. Jenner had sparked engagement rumors by showing off the extravagant gift on Instagram.

"It was really special to end such a big year celebrating with all my friends and family... and with an extra special gift from a special someone," she wrote. "And NO, I'm not engaged :)."
Jenner and Tyga were first linked in fall 2014, and went public with their relationship at the reality star's 18th birthday party in August. The rapper previously sparked engagement rumors when he referred to Jenner as his fiancée in a Snapchat video in September.
"Honestly, people have it all wrong," Jenner later told Ellen DeGeneres amid breakup reports. "We're not broken up. We became best friends before anything happened, so I think that's awesome. We're just hanging out. We're still together."
Jenner and her family continue to star on the E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. She and sister Kendall Jenner spent time with their nephew Reign ahead of Christmas, and recently welcomed another nephew, Saint West.
