Obama, Biden families release holiday-themed Spotify playlists

WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama released a playlist of their favorite holiday songs Wednesday.

Including the songs "Let It Snow" by Boyz II Men, "O Tannenbaum," by Vince Guaraldi Trio, "Someday at Christmas," by Stevie Wonder, and Whitney Houston's "Little Drummer Boy," the 14-track playlist includes updated renditions of many classics and a handful of holiday originals.

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill also curated their own playlist, which includes a mix of holiday and pop music from Bruce Springsteen and Ella Fitzgerald to Mary J. Blige, Coldplay and Lady Gaga.

The White House launched an official Spotify channel over the summer, highlighting some of President Obama's favorite music from the likes of The Temptations, Bob Dylan and Justin Timberlake.
