DANBURY, N.J., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has been released from prison after nearly a year-long sentence.

Giudice, 43, was reportedly picked up from the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution by her lawyer, James Leonard, on Dec. 23 as her husband, Joe Giudice, remains without a driver's license. The mother of four arrived home in New Jersey at around 7:30 a.m. surrounded by black security vehicles, E! News reports.

Attorney Leonard revealed to the press earlier this week his client will remain confined to her home until Feb. 5. "During that period she will be able to work, she will be able to take care of business, medical [things]. She'll be out and about. And when that period ends, she will begin a [two-year] period of supervised release," he said, according to NorthJersey.com.

Giudice and her family will reportedly spend the holidays at her brother Joe Gorga's home. "It's a blessing that everyone will be together," Joe's wife Melissa Gorga told Us Weekly.

Giudice and her husband were sentenced to 15 and 41 months in prison, respectively, for fraud in October 2014. The pair were allowed to serve their terms separately on account of their four daughters, with Joe Giudice slated to enter prison in February 2016.
