NEW YORK, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Ginger Zee and husband Ben Aaron welcomed their first child.
The 34-year-old ABC News chief meteorologist announced the news on her baby blog, revealing she and Aaron are parents to a "healthy baby boy" they named Adrian Benjamin Colonomos.
"I feel like I'm lucky because I've had a really good pregnancy," Zee told co-anchors George Stephanopoulos and Lara Spencer on Friday's episode. "Everyone has been so supportive. Thank you to all of you."
"I'm so nervous," she admitted. "I'm staying up at night ... That's been the hardest part is I wake up, I feel him move, and I'm like, 'There's a real human in here. This is happening.'"
Zee and Aaron have been together since 2012, and married in June 2014. The meteorologist announced her pregnancy on Good Morning America in June, saying motherhood is her "most extreme adventure yet."
Zee joined Good Morning America as a weather anchor in 2011, and was made chief meteorologist for the talk show and ABC News in 2013. Aaron is an NBC news correspondent at the channel's flagship station in New York.
