NEW YORK, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Ginger Zee and husband Ben Aaron welcomed their first child.

"I feel like I'm lucky because I've had a really good pregnancy," Zee told co-anchors George Stephanopoulos and Lara Spencer on Friday's episode. "Everyone has been so supportive. Thank you to all of you."

"I'm so nervous," she admitted. "I'm staying up at night ... That's been the hardest part is I wake up, I feel him move, and I'm like, 'There's a real human in here. This is happening.'"

Zee and Aaron have been together since 2012, and married in June 2014. The meteorologist announced her pregnancy on Good Morning America in June, saying motherhood is her "most extreme adventure yet."
