LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Channing Tatum shared an adorable new photo of his wife Jenna Dewan and daughter Everly on Friday. The 35-year-old actor posted a picture of Dewan, also 35, and 2-year-old Everly in matching mermaid costumes, writing, "Happening."

Tatum and Dewan met on the set of Step Up in 2006, and married in September 2008. The couple welcomed their daughter in May 2013, an experience the actor detailed in the August issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
"It was crazy," he said of Everly's birth. "You feel helpless. We like to think of ourselves as big, strong men, and we could handle whatever situation. And reality is [that women] are so much stronger than we could ever be ... My wife, she's a warrior."
"It's scary," he admitted of parenthood. "You think people are going to be there, but ultimately you just have each other ... But Jenna is a super mom. There's no other way to say it. She is there every single second, every single day. I love being a dad."
Tatum's post comes amid news that he and Dewan will compete on the Lip Sync Battle season 2 premiere on Jan. 7. The actor is expected to perform the Frozen hit "Let It Go," as he is seen dressed as Elsa in a preview for the episode.
Tatum will next star in Quentin Tarantino film The Hateful Eight, and is also slated for new Coen brothers comedy Hail, Caesar!. Dewan presently plays Lucy Lane on CBS series Supergirl, which airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
