Macaulay Culkin returns as unstable 'Home Alone' character

By Marilyn Malara

WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Macaulay Culkin returns as Home Alone character Kevin McCallister in a disturbing new short by YouTuber Jack Dishel.

In the YouTube clip, titled "Just Me In The House By Myself," Culkin, 35, plays the older, traumatized McCallister who has no issue with torturing a burglar. He enters the video as the unstable husband of a driving app worker, who takes over his wife's post for the day.

Because Culkin's character doesn't drive, co-star Dishel, who plays the app customer in need of a ride offers to drive himself using the car. While on the road, Culkin details the classic Home Alone story as a traumatic event in his life.

"I defended my house from two psychopath home invaders," he said. "I still have nightmares of this bald weirdo dude chasing me around, talking like Yosemite Sam...they didn't even curse!"

When they parked, a gun-wielding man then approached the car demanding the two get out. "Stay in the car," Culkin uttered quietly. "You picked the wrong car my friend."

After a series of Home Alone-esque hijinks, Culkin and Dishel end up in a dark shed with the attacker tied in a chair. Menacingly, Culkin eerily describes the painful torture he will put the man through and as the credits roll, only screams are heard.
