LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- One Direction hopped into Late Late Show host James Corden's SUV for a fun segment of Carpool Karaoke.

Aired Thursday night, the four band members and Corden rocked out to 1D hits like "What Makes You Beautiful," "Story of My Life," and "Best Song Ever," before discussing why they weren't a traditional boy band.

"It's weird," Harry Styles said.

"We just made the decision that we weren't going to be that band," Niall Horan added.

Subsequently, the band made an unofficial music video for their hit "No Control" wearing coordinating outfits and moving to choreographed dance moves created by Corden.
