NEW YORK, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Behati Prinsloo and husband Adam Levine saw Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship coming.

The 26-year-old Namibian model claimed as much on Tuesday's episode of Watch What Happens Live. Prinsloo's husband, singer Adam Levine, serves with Stefani and Shelton on The Voice, and also predicted the pair would get together.

"I didn't [know they were dating], but we kind of called it," the model said. "We kind of called it ahead of time because they were both kind of going through a moment. They're so different but so perfect for each other, so I didn't know, but I felt it."

Stefani first met Shelton after joining The Voice season 7 in 2014, and returned for season 9 in September. The pair split from their respective partners, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, in the interim, and confirmed they are dating in November.

Stefani initially joined the NBC reality competition as a temporary replacement for Christina Aguilera, who will return for season 10. Shelton pressured executive producer Carson Daly to add a fifth coach's chair for Stefani during a Voice press conference Monday.

"We'll just address that we love Gwen, we love all our coaches," Daly said in response. "We're like Iron Chef around here. Once you've been in the kitchen, you're always welcome back in the kitchen... anytime."

Season 9 featured Levine, Stefani, Shelton and Pharrell Williams as coaches, and came to a close Tuesday evening. Jordan Smith, 22, won the competition, securing Levine his third victory as coach.
