NEW YORK, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Howard Stern has signed a new five-year deal with SiriusXM Satellite Radio Tuesday after teasing that Wednesday could have been his final show.

The new deal includes plans for a streaming video component to support his daily radio program, The Howard Stern Show. Also included is a 12-year pact that gives the company rights to the shock jock's video and audio material.

"SiriusXM and Howard Stern Productions also agreed to a 12-year deal for use of Stern's extensive audio and video library drawn from performances, specials, and shows spanning his more than 30-year broadcasting career," the company said in a statement.

"As a broadcaster, it does not get better than working at SiriusXM and I'm truly excited for the future with this great company," said Stern. "I happen to think that its best days are ahead. So, if you are not listening to SiriusXM and The Howard Stern Show, then you are really more like a zombie, a rotting corpse monster, living half a life, deadened and blackened inside. It's as if you were still watching black and white television while shopping in actual stores on your way to the post office to fax a memo."

"I am living a dream here on satellite radio and Jim Meyer is my life partner and the baby we are about to have is our new streaming video app," he continued. "The joy we are going to bring you in the very near future will make you feel like Christmas is every day. Ho, Ho, Howard...out."

During Monday's edition of The Howard Stern Show, the 61-year-old mentioned how Wednesday's episode could have been his last due to the ongoing contract negotiations with SiriusXM. Throughout the broadcast, Stern kept joking about the idea by playing farewell songs and airing a faux movie trailer for "the final episode of the Howard Stern Show ever, maybe."

As Bloomberg Business originally reported, SiriusXM could have lost "more than $240 million in annual revenue if Stern had went elsewhere.

Also on Monday's show, Stern interviewed Tina Fey to promote her new film Sisters where she also shared a personal story of an insult she received while she was the head writer at Saturday Night Live.

Earlier this year, Stern departed America's Got Talent after serving as a judge for the talent show for four seasons.
