NEW YORK, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly took her recent Goop store robbery in stride.

The 43-year-old actress' mom, Blythe Danner, told reporters as much at the New York Women in Film & Television lunch Thursday. Paltrow's new Manhattan location was robbed of $173,000 worth of goods Dec. 5, just two weeks after opening.

"I called her immediately," the 72-year-old actress told Page Six. "And she said, 'Oh, Mom, it's okay. It's good publicity.' She always has a good spin on things."

"She said, 'You know, it's okay. It's more attention. It's more publicity for Goop,'" the star added to Us Weekly magazine. "I admire her tenacity. She's so much like her dad."

Danner didn't have an update on the three suspects, who robbed the shop with employees present and fled before police arrived. Paltrow debuted the lifestyle site in 2008, and also has stores in Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago.

Paltrow is daughter to Danner and late producer Bruce Paltrow, and sister to 40-year-old director Jake Paltrow. The actress last appeared in Mortdecai with Johnny Depp, and is slated for 33 dias with Antonio Banderas and the TV movie One Hit Wonders.
