LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith are officially divorced after 20 years of marriage.

The former couple reportedly finalized their divorce Tuesday, splitting Banderas' income from films produced between 2004 and 2014 such as Shrek 2, Puss in Boots, Machete Kills and Expendables 3, among others. The Spanish actor will keep money made from previous films such as The Mask of Zorro (1998), Desperado (1995) and Spy Kids (2001).

Documents obtained by TMZ reveal the 33 actor will also be paying his ex-wife a monthly spousal support sum of $65,000. Among their belongings, Griffith will take ownership of a Picasso painting called "The Painter and His Model," while Banderas takes home a Picasso pencil drawing and a work by Diego Rivera.

About eight years into their marriage, the couple reportedly agreed to postnuptial terms separating their finances between 1996 and 2004. Whatever income they made between those years, they do not have to split in the divorce.

Banderas and Griffith sold their California estate for $15.95 million in June of this year just 10 days after listing it for just over $16 million. They bought the 15,110-square-foot mansion in 1999 for under $5 million and added on the next door property in 2000.

Griffith filed for divorce from Banderas during the summer of 2014, citing "irreconcilable differences." He and Griffith have one daughter together, Stella, for whom they reunited at her recent high school graduation.

Early this year, Banderas opened up about his marriage, saying although the year was difficult for him, "life goes on."

"[Griffith] is a person that I loved, I love and always will love," he said on Spanish television show El Hormiguero at the time.

Banderas is now reportedly dating investment banker Nicole Kimpel, with whom he attended this year's Cannes film festival.
