LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West have named their newborn son Saint West.

The 35-year-old reality star revealed the news on her website Monday, two days after she and the 38-year-old rapper announced their baby's birth. Saint was born Dec. 5, weighing 8 pounds, one ounce.

Fans speculated the couple would name their son Easton, which Kardashian said she liked on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in September. The reality star and West had still not decided on a name when she spoke to E! News in mid-November.

"I don't have names [picked out], which is so crazy," she told the website. "We just started talking about it and that was the last thing for us last time. So I feel confident, obviously, that we'll figure it out."

Kardashian and West welcomed their first child, North West, in June 2013, and married in May 2014. The reality star struggled for months to conceive a second time, but alluded to wanting a third child on Sunday's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
