BEVERLY HILLS , Calif., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- As Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills enters into its sixth season, star Kyle Richards has started to talk about her tumultuous relationship with sister Kim Richards.

Kyle appeared on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM radio show Andy Cohen Live where she was asked how her troubled sister was doing since becoming sober back in October.

"She's good right now. She's happy, she's good, she's sober," Kyle replied before mentioning that Kim would be appearing on the reality show on a limited basis. However, when a caller asked the actress about her relationship with her sister, Kyle admitted to their differences and how the show has affected their lives.

"It's very difficult," Kyle explained. "Like I was just saying with Andy, we'll be okay, and then the show reruns, and we're like, 'Oh my gosh,' and it kind of brings things up again, honestly. It's not just that, but we have a very difficult relationship, and we probably will always be a work in progress, always."

"Honestly, I don't know if it's ever going to be like, 'Oh my gosh, it's just like when we were little now, woo-hoo! Let's go have ice cream together,'" Kyle continued. "I hope, but it's probably not."

Kim suffered through a series of setbacks this year after she was arrested in April for public intoxication and then again for shoplifting in August. After declaring that she had become sober, Kim mentioned to former Real Housewives co-star Brandi Glanville on her podcast that she was "truly enjoying life."

"It's a good time for me right now," Kim said. "It's better now, [but] it was a rough time for a bit there. [I'm] just putting everything back in order and really focusing on my family and me."

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
