LOS ANGELES, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Alicia Silverstone and Jeremy Sisto staged a mini Clueless reunion at the 2015 American Music Awards on Sunday.

The 39-year-old actress and 41-year-old actor, who played Cher Horowitz and Elton Tiscia in the 1995 movie, respectively, reunited to introduce Gwen Stefani ahead of her performance.

"It's been 20 years since Jeremy and I worked on the movie Clueless," Silverstone told the audience. "And we are proud to be a part of [director] Amy Heckerling's film."

"One of the many, many great things in this movie was this young, up and coming band named No Doubt and their song 'Just a Girl,'" Sisto added. "It featured the amazing voice of [Gwen Stefani]."

Stefani performed her emotional new single, "Used to Love You," which will appear on her forthcoming third solo album. The song was reportedly inspired by her split from husband Gavin Rossdale, father to her sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.

Clueless opened in theaters in July 1995, and earned over $56 million at the box office. The film inspired an ABC/UPN television series and a young adult book series by H.B. Gilmour and Randi Reisfeld, and has since developed a cult following.

Silverstone is also known for Batman & Robin and Blast from the Past, and will star in King Cobra with James Franco. Sisto portrayed Billy Chenowith on Six Feet Under and Det. Cyrus Lupo on Law & Order, and recently played Det. Jack Roth on the short-lived Wicked City.
