"We are delighted to have Corinne Foxx continue the tradition and have her as our 2016 Miss Golden Globe," HFPA President Lorenzo Soria said in a statement Tuesday. "Like her father, she leads a fine example of following her dreams and we can't wait to see what she does next."

"Throughout the years, I've grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor," added Foxx. "I'm honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he's been recognized for some of his greatest accomplishments."

Miss or Mr. Golden Globe is traditionally the child of one of the entertainment industry's most respected artists or filmmakers. He or she assists in escorting winners and presenters on and off stage during the Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

Many people who have served in this capacity have gone on to enjoy successful careers of their own, including Linda Evans, Anne Archer, Laura Dern, Joely Fisher, Freddie Prinze Jr., Dakota Johnson, Rumer Willis, Francesca Eastwood and Sosie Bacon.
