Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick reunite in Malibu

MALIBU, Calif., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Kourtney Kardashian and ex-partner Scott Disick surprised fans by reuniting Friday.

The 36-year-old reality star and 32-year-old club promoter were spotted together at Rich Wilkerson, Jr.'s book release party in Malibu, Calif. The event marked the former couple's first public appearance since their split in July.

The sighting follows reports Kardashian is considering giving Disick another chance. Sources told TMZ that the club promoter has been "amazing" since leaving rehab for substance abuse last week.

Kardashian and Disick were together nine years, and share 5-year-old son Mason, 3-year-old daughter Penelope and 11-month-old son Reign. The reality star emotionally discussed the breakup on the Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11 premiere Sunday.

"I have asked Scott to move out of the house," she told her family after the split. "As much as we've tried so many different things, it's just, this is the last resort. It's really not helping anybody to keep living this way, and I feel like this is what we need to try to hopefully better both of our lives."

Kardashian and her family have starred on E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians since 2007. The star's sister, Khloe Kardashian, addressed her relationship with estranged husband Lamar Odom and boyfriend James Harden on Monday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
