LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- James Van Der Beek and wife Kimberly Van Der Beek are expecting their fourth child.
The 38-year-old actor and and 33-year-old producer announced the news on social media Thursday. The couple are already parents to 5-year-old daughter Olivia, 3-year-old son Joshua and 21-month-old daughter Annabel Leah.
"So grateful to share with you today that we're pregnant with our 4th child!" Kimberly wrote. "And to any of those who may have known our news, but were kind enough to wait until we were ready to announce, may good karma be upon you," the actor added.
Van Der Beek and his wife married in August 2010, and welcomed Olivia the next month. The actor was previously wed to Party of Five actress Heather McComb from 2003 to 2010, and discussed his growing family with People ahead of Annabel's birth.
"There are moments where we will be dealing with the two, it will be a handful and I'll think, 'Well, this is about to get even trickier,'" he confessed. "The kids are the best home base you could possibly have. It tethers you to reality. I know that by the time I come home, I'll be brought right back to earth."
Van Der Beek is best known for playing Dawson Leery on The WB series Dawson's Creek. He has since portrayed a fictionalized version of himself on ABC sitcom Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, and stars as Elijah Mundo on CBS police drama CSI: Cyber.
