Selena Gomez cozies up to Samuel Krost in New York

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez cozied up to new man Samuel Krost on Monday.

The 23-year-old singer was spotted with Krost, a friend of mutual pal Gigi Hadid, after attending the 2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall.

Gomez was seen laughing with Krost and sitting on his lap at Cipriani restaurant, and the pair left the establishment holding hands. Krost reportedly attended NYU, and is a sales and merchandising exec at Onia clothing company.

The singer's longtime on-again, off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber, said he and Gomez will "maybe" get back together earlier that day on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He declared he will "never" stop loving the star in an interview with Access Hollywood last week.

Gomez and Bieber were together between 2010 and 2014, and the "Good for You" singer was last linked to Zedd. She and the 26-year-old Russian-German DJ dated earlier this year, and released the song "I Want You To Know" in February.

Gomez released her second studio album, Revival, in October, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and includes the single "Same Old Love." She will next appear in The Big Short with Christian Bale, and is slated for Neighbors 2 with Zac Efron.
