WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- A newly released teaser for the upcoming FX miniseries American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson features a transformed John Travolta as attorney Robert Shapiro.

The footage aired Wednesday during the latest episode of American Horror Story, and featured Travolta's stoic persona leading into a question for his client O.J. Simpson (Cuba Gooding Jr.). The clip ends before viewers know what his question is.

The new historical drama will examine the trial of former NFL star O.J. Simpson, who was accused of murdering his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Lyle Goldman in 1994. Simpson was acquitted in 1995.
