WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Rapper Drake unveiled the colorful music video for his summer hit single "Hotline Bling" Monday, showing off his rhymes and dance moves as well.

Uploaded to Apple Music, the release opens in a call center inhabited by beautiful women in the same pink-shirt, blue-jean uniform. Within seconds, the scene cuts to the singular rapper strutting his own dance moves while flooded in yellow monochromatic light, then green, then purple and so on.

Helmed by Director X, the video looks influenced by the art of James Turrell, who last year hosted a Drake-themed retrospective in Los Angeles. Over a year ago, Billboard observes, the Canadian artist uploaded photos similar to the scenes in his new video to Instagram tagging Turrell.

"Hotline Bling" samples the song "Cha Cha" by D.R.A.M., which Drake embraces with his own cha-cha moves during the song's hook and throughout the verses.
