LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Channing Tatum believes his Halloween costume-of-choice was one of the scariest, although he based it on a well-known children's character.

In a photo shared Sunday, the actor, who will star in the upcoming superhero flick Gambit, showed little skin in a dark gold Winnie the Pooh onesie. To give off a more Pooh-like effect, the Magic Mike XXL star stuffed his costume effectively with what appears to be lumpy pillows.

On Instagram, Tatum stands in a slumped pose to give his costume added oddness and wrote, "Pretty sure I terrified all the children at our daughter's Halloween carnival today." For those unaware of his intended likeness, he added, "Btw- I'm pooh bear in case anyone can't tell."

Tatum parents 2-year-old daughter, Everly, with wife and actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Everly was born in London in the summer of 2013.
