HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- King of Queens star Leah Remini announced she is publishing a Scientology memoir titled Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology .

Remini, who had been raised as a Scientologist since she was child, famously quit the church in 2013.

The actresses' new book will chronicle her indoctrination into the religion at age 10 with her mother and sister and how her rise to Hollywood mixed with having to promote Scientology.

Remini will also describe the scrutiny she faced when she started raising concerns about the church's practices, including the sudden disappearance of leader David Miscavige's wife, Shelley, that led Remini and her family to quit Scientology altogether.

The television star shared the book's cover Thursday on Twitter writing "Very excited about this...#Troublemaker."

In July, Remini discussed the support she received from friend Jennifer Lopez after leaving the church and how the pop star offered her a new perspective.

"She said to me, 'You know Leah, you don't have to give everything up. Like it's OK to look at it like there were some things about it that was helpful and just leave the rest. So don't throw it all away and think your life was wasted.' And I thought that was a beautiful thing to say," Remini said. "It just allowed me to breathe for a minute. She's just been supportive in an amazing way."
