ALPHARETTA, Ga., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Kim Zolciak-Biermann is in the hospital after experiencing a mini-stroke upon arriving back home from this week's Dancing With The Stars episodes.

The television personality took to social media Thursday to report she suffered a transient ischemic attack (TIA), which left her entire left side numb and her speech capability completely impaired, after taking a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta. Thanks to her family members, she said -- including husband Kroy Biermann and daughter Brielle -- the celebrity was speedily brought to a hospital.

"I have 100% of my feeling back THANK GOD," the Real Housewives star wrote alongside a hospital selfie on Isntagram. "Still in the hospital but I just know I'm getting released today!"

Zolciak is currently competing on the current season of Dancing With The Stars. This week, she scored a less-than-impressive 19 (out of 30 points) but was reportedly pleased with her score. "I still have a heart even though I'm, like, bad," she told the show's host Monday night. "I still have a heart."
