Christie Brinkley, John Mellencamp spotted again on date

NEW YORK, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Christie Brinkley and John Mellencamp were spotted on their second date of the week Wednesday.

The 61-year-old model and 63-year-old musician were all smiles as they left the Ed Sullivan Theater in the same car. The rumored couple visited the venue for Mellencamp's performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert with Willie Nelson.

Brinkley and her new beau stopped by Chalk Point Kitchen for some late-night eats after the appearance. A source told Entertainment Tonight "the mood was great and happy," while a different insider confirmed the pair are "spending time together" to E! News.

The model and the musician were first linked earlier this week when they were seen leaving dinner at The Bowery Hotel. Brinkley and fourth husband Peter Cook divorced in October 2008, while Mellencamp and actress Meg Ryan ended their relationship again this year.

Brinkley shares 29-year-old daughter Alexa with second husband Billy Joel, and 20-year-old son Jack and 17-year-old daughter Sailor with Cook. Mellencamp is father to five children from his marriages to Priscilla Esterline, Victoria Granucci and Elaine Irwin.
