NEW YORK, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Naomi Campbell took to Instagram to share a topless photo Tuesday.
The 45-year-old British model became the latest celebrity to #FreetheNipple by posting a picture from her upcoming Taschen book. Campbell had previewed the two-volume set in the latest issue of Garage magazine.
"#freethenipple," she captioned the black-and-white snapshot. "sneak peek of my TASCHEN two-volume book #naomicampbell in @garage_magazine No. @mertalas @macpiggot."
Campbell's picture remained on Instagram nearly a day later despite the photo sharing site's strict policy against female nipples. Posts with female nipples are taken down except in cases of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding.
Chrissy Teigen, Chelsea Handler and Ireland Baldwin are among the other stars who have fought to "Free the Nipple." Teigen skirted Instagram's policy with a strategically-shot photo in July after the site removed her topless picture, while Baldwin used a bee emoji to hide her nipples this month.
Campbell is considered one of the top five supermodels of the 1990s. She hosts the U.S. and Australian versions of reality competition The Face, portrays Camilla Marks on Fox drama Empire, and will play Claudia Bankson on FX series American Horror Story: Hotel.
