In the track video of "Fever" released on Vevo Monday and announced through People, Buble introduces the song as one of his best accomplishments. "I think it's a really incredible sexy, smoldering sort of song... For me to do this today is one of the greatest things I've ever done," he said. "This is a highlight of my career."
The "Blurred Lines" singer says he opens with Elvis' song at his shows, "I always loved it," adding that "even though [Elvis] is not here and it's a virtual duet, I know he's still here." he continued. "So to be surrounded by that aura...is just absolutely huge for me."
The upcoming album, due out in late October, combines the King of Rock's vocals with new instrumentals provided by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and performances by artists like Buble, Il Volo and Duane Eddy.
Elvis Presley released his version of "Fever" track in 1960 for the movie King Creole.
