SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Britney Spears celebrated both of her sons' birthdays over the weekend. The 33-year-old singer threw sons Preston and Jayden a skate-themed party in honor of their 10th and 9th birthdays, respectively. Sources told E! News around 40 guests attended the bash at the indoor Skatelab park in Simi Valley, Calif., on Saturday.

"Happy birthday to my boys.... love you so much Jayden and Preston!" Spears captioned a photo of herself with her boys on Instagram. She later shared a collage that included a picture of her sons' DJ deck-shaped cake.
"Britney's boys are total skater boys," Linda Cohen, who designed and created the cake, told E!. "While last year's party was totally skate-themed, this year the boys wanted a bit of a DJ-theme incorporated ... As expected, [Britney] was super sweet and greeted all of her guests with a wide smile and a phenomenal hospitality."
Spears and second husband Kevin Federline welcomed Preston and Jayden on Sept. 14, 2005 and Sept. 12, 2006, respectively. Federline, who was married to the star from 2004 to 2007, also posted a photo of the cake on social media.
Spears last released Britney Jean in December 2013, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. The singer kicked off her Las Vegas residence at Planet Hollywood the same month, and announced she will extend the show through 2017 last week.
