Reese Witherspoon shares photos of daughter Ava to celebrate her sweet 16

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon shared photos to celebrate her lookalike daughter Ava's 16th birthday.

"My sweet girl turns 16 today!" Witherspoon tweeted Wednesday alongside two images -- one of Ava as a little girl and another more recent snapshot. "I am so blessed to have you as a daughter."

Ava is the eldest of Witherspoon's three children. The actress also has a 12-year-old son Deacon with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, the actor to whom she was married 1999-2007.

Witherspoon, 39, married talent agent Jim Toth in 2011. They have a son named Tennessee, who will turn 3 on Sept. 27.
